Linley smiling wearing sunglassesLinley Storm-Boyette grew up in Houston, and graduated from Texas State University with a BA in Communication and a concentration in Advertising and Marketing. She got her start at GSD&M in Austin, where she conceived and wrote a number of print, radio and television spots for clients such as Southwest Airlines, Walmart, Coca-Cola, and local Austin-area businesses. Later relocating to Seattle, she worked preproduction during the second and third seasons of Emmy award-winning television series, Bill Nye the Science Guy, where she identified and secured locations for shoots, helped with props and casting and was even in the show as an extra a time or two.

She was one of the early employees at Zombie Studios, a vibrant video game studio in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. There Linley honed her skills as a creative producer and product manager, leading titles such as ZPCSpec Ops II: Green Berets, Body Glove’s Blue Water Hunter, and the PlayStation port of the X Files game. After a break to focus on raising her family, she dove back into creative production work with Seattle-based textile company Sin in Linen, and db Creative Services Group, where her contributions include writing and designing communications and print ads, assisting on video shoots, and providing creative direction in post production including managing the technical backend of an interactive video platform.

More recently Linley was Project Manager at Plexipixel a design and development agency specializing in UI, UX, illustration, and animation. She was responsible for managing the design and development team for clients including Sierra Nevada, Microsoft, and Gene Juarez. At Plexipixel, she moved the company from a largely manual project management process to a more efficient and scalable system by designing and implementing a solution using Confluence, JIRA and Trello to document, manage, and maintain projects across the company. She was also the primary client account manager throughout the project lifecycle, and assisted with preparation and presentation of pitches to new clients.
